Lai Liao Lah is a parody food-delivery app. It has no account, no login, no payments, and no backend server of our own. We do not collect, store, or sell your personal data. Here's exactly what happens with information on your device.
What we store
Everything the app remembers — your name, chosen area, savings, streaks, and non-order history — is stored only on your device (local storage). It never leaves your phone and we cannot see it. Deleting the app, or using Reset all my data inside the app, erases it permanently.
Location
If you grant permission, the app uses your device location on-device to show nearby (fictional) stalls and to set your map pickup point. Your location is not transmitted to us or stored on any server. You can deny or revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings; the app still works with a default area.
Address lookups
When you type a pickup or destination address, that text is sent to Singapore's public OneMap search API to return matching places. This is handled by OneMap under their own terms; we do not log these queries.
Analytics & tracking
None. There is no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking across apps or websites.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
